Dinner concerts at Artipelag

Artipelag is pleased to announce that we will host dinner concerts at Artipelag Restaurant on Saturday 20:th and 27:th of February. The audience will enjoy delicious food and a music program varying from classical to jazz.

Price

Concert including a three-course dinner: SEK 695/person (Art.Pass members SEK 595/person).
Bar ticket (concert only): SEK 295/person. A cold platter is available at SEK 170.
Payment is added to the restaurant bill after the concert.

For more information about the dinner menu, see detailed information below for each concert date. The Art.Pass price is valid for two persons per valid Art.Pass membership (period of validity is 12 months starting from day of purchase). Make sure to take your Art.Pass with you to the dinner concert and to claim the special dinner + concert offer when you make your dinner reservation). For cancellations later than 24 hours before the event starts, we will debit the full amount (100%) for the concert and dinner.

Open hours

Dinner guest are welcome from 5.30 pm. Other guests from 6 pm. Artipelag closes at 9 pm. The concert is in two sets, with one hour for each set.

Free entry for guests with bar or dining tickets to our current exhibition The Monochrome Symphony. Refer to your booking at our Information desk. Please note that the offer is only valid the same day as the concert.

Transport

Prebook a taxi with Värmdö Taxi, who offer a flat rate (SEK 110) to/from Värmdö Marknad and Artipelag. You can also travel by public transport from Slussen to Värmdö Marknad. Contact Värmdö Taxi at phone no. +46 (0)8 570 357 00.

Feb 20:th – Stockholm Chamber Jazz

Jazz is mixed with classical music, Swedish folk music, klezmer and their own material. Bach, Mingus, Mozart, Monk, Quincy Jones, Fauré, Ellington, Stravinskij. Three voices in harmony.
Staffan Mårtensson: Grammy winner and solo clarinetist at the Royal Swedish Orchestra.
Lennart Simonsson: jazz pianist, composer and teacher. His sound music knowledge has taken him to diverse music scenes such as Stockholm City Theatre and The Late Show with David Letterman.
Jan Adefelt: one of Sweden’s most hired bassists. Adefelt has toured with some of Sweden’s leading jazz artist, such as Monica Zetterlund, Alice Babs, Putte Wickman and Anders Widmark.

Feb 27:th – Bach to Bergman

Stefan Nilsson and Lotta Hasselquist, together with Boel Adler, present a musical journey into the world of movies combining both classical and new material.
Composer and pianist Stefan Nilsson, famous for composing the music to some of Sweden’s most loved movies and television shows. Enjoy his compositions and hear him talk about his collaborations with film makers.
Lotta Hasselquist is a bandmaster and concert pianist. She has worked as a conductor at The Royal Dramatic Theatre, accompanied choirs and singers and worked with opera and ballet.
